16th Batch of KOSHISH of DPS, Bokaro started

In a bid to train the underprivileged and marginalised women and young girls 16th batch of Koshish under the aegis of DPS, Bokaro started. Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, Director & Principal DPS Bokaro while inaugurating the 16th batch of Koshish highlighted that Koshish started in 2006 with the motto to associate and train the underprivileged women and young girls so that they can become independent. She said that more than 350 women and young girls have already been trained in stitching, embroidery, candle making, toy making etc from the centre. She added that women and young girls from nearby areas who are underprivileged are selected for the training programme. They are provided with the raw materials for making different things. After completing this Certificate Course the trainees secure jobs in Aaganvadis and other places. The trainees of the current batch will get training for making soft toys and bags.
